4. Eligibility documents for merit promotions, such as:

• If you are a federal employee and want to be considered for a merit promotion, you must submit a copy of your most recent SF-50 "Notification of Personnel Action" that reflects career or career-conditional tenure and includes the position title, series, grade, and tenure (please do not submit an Award SF-50 as it does not provide the needed information). Your résumé and the necessary SF-50s will be examined to determine your time in grade.

• The most recent SF-50 may not adequately attest to your possession of the one-year time-in-grade needed by this announcement if its effective date is within the previous year. In this case, you must submit an extra SF-50, such as a Within Grade Increase, that amply documents your one-year time in grade.

• If the number of hours you worked each week are not stated on your résumé, federal workers must also file a non-award SF-50 for each federal employment listed.

• Veterans Preference Documentation, if appropriate (e.g., DD-214, SF-15, VA Letter)

• For each eligible period of temporary employment claimed, documentation for eligibility under the Land Management Workforce Flexibility Act (LMWFA) must be provided. This documentation must include ALL SF-50s for appointments and terminations, as well as ALL performance reviews.

• Previous PLC Member: Give a copy of your "Certificate of Eligibility for Noncompetitive Hiring" and a copy of your "PLC Participant Verification Work Hours Sheet within the last 2 Years" to the hiring manager.
