Job description:
Job Purpose:
To support business in establishing new accounts on the Digital Onboarding System for CIBG clients.
To efficiently coordinate efforts across the CIBG, Compliance, and Relationship teams to guarantee task efficiency.
Continue to maintain and update the Unit's portfolio management reports.
Major Result Areas
• Work closely with clients, ARMs, and RMs to complete all necessary paperwork when creating new accounts.
• Be familiar with the paperwork needed to create an account and for KYC (TL, KYC, FATCA CRS & Supporting Docs).
• Handle any account opening-related exceptions.
• Make sure there are few exceptions and reworks.
• Independent in managing MER, accountable for submitting documentation to Credit Admin for filing.
• Assist in the creation and approval of KYCs, and be sure to work with the offshore team to coordinate the updating of the cases in the Flex system.
• Confirmation of the cases currently being handled and being processed for Business or Customers, as applicable
• Understanding the criteria of the UAE Central Bank
• Taking care of any assignment in accordance with business needs
• Perform customer screening and enhance due diligence, adverse media search, and PEP assessment during client onboarding.
• Discount false positives and escalate any potential and exact hits by adhering to compliance roles and guidelines.
• Ensure high quality of service to all business divisions within CIBG.
Information, expertise, and experience
A minimum graduate with 2-4 years of banking experience.
A focus on the customer and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office's Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The capacity to multitask and work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Familiar with fundamental financial laws, municipal ordinances, etc.
Possessing solid business and operational experience or having a thorough grasp of how the back office runs.
Solid foundation in compliance obligations and name-screening, improved due diligence, and negative media search.
