As a Tyre & Battery Centre Technician, you will work to give to our members more of what they love for less while also working to provide safe and effective service in both the department's sales and service sections.

USA TIRE & BATTERY TECHNICIAN - AUTOMOTIVE

To make sure the club lives up to the members' expectations, you will collaborate with other staff members. 

How you'll act


• Work as a Team Member: Works with others on the team to complete sales and service requests; mentors new technicians; teaches other employees about tools, duties, and resources; and collaborates with them to build interpersonal skills for safe and effective customer care.

• Be an Expert: Shows proficiency in safety and compliance procedures, tyre and battery industry standards, service requirements, equipment usage, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality. Also shows proficiency in point-of-sale systems, telephone, and in-person selling strategies.

• Hand-held technology and systems are used to make quick business decisions regarding services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. New tools are also adapted to and promoted for use by others.

• Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tool, and supply needs to TBC Lead; track and monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; work directly in the physical space; maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards; report TBC complaints, safety risks, and issues with goods, services, and work areas; complete paperwork, logs, and other necessary documentation; ensure that goods are p

• Be a Talent Ambassador by valuing the member's experience in the TBC region and serving as a role model for high-quality services and products; encouraging, influencing, and motivating others to work in a respectful, encouraging, and team-oriented manner; and being aware of the challenges and helping to train team members. 

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by putting related action plans into practice.

• Uses policies, data, and resources to complete work assignments and priorities; collaborates with managers, coworkers, clients, and other business partners; establishes priorities, deadlines, and expectations; executes tasks; communicates progress and information; decides and suggests ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
